What is Financial Planning
Financial Planning is the process of creating a clear roadmap to achieve your life goals — and staying on track as your circumstances evolve. It helps you understand the why, how, and when of creating, investing, and protecting wealth.
Beyond numbers and spreadsheets, financial planning is also a journey of reflection and self-discovery. It helps you look beyond daily money matters and align your financial decisions with the life you truly want to live.
Our approach blends financial life planning with traditional financial planning — helping you explore not just your goals, but also the values and purpose behind them. Money decisions, when guided by life goals, lead to more meaningful and lasting outcomes.
Who Needs Financial Planning
Practically everyone — because everyone has dreams.
- Someone starting a career, dreams of building financial independence.
- Someone in mid-life dreams of growing wealth for family and lifestyle goals.
- Someone who has already accumulated wealth dreams of preserving and passing it on.
Financial planning helps individuals at every life stage move steadily toward their goals. It’s not just about investments — it’s about clarity, direction, and peace of mind.
We also work extensively with individuals and families navigating life transitions — such as career shifts, inheritance, retirement, or the loss of a loved one.
Our experience in transition planning helps clients make sound financial decisions in times of emotional or situational change, ensuring both financial stability and personal comfort.

Our Financial Planning Process
We follow a structured, transparent process designed to ensure every financial plan truly reflects your needs, values, and aspirations.
Phase I – Introductory Meeting
This is a complimentary session for mutual understanding.
We explain how we work, what you can expect as a client, and take time to understand your needs.
Based on this discussion, both sides decide whether we are the right fit to work together.
Phase II – Engagement & Data Gathering
If you decide to engage our services, we begin by completing the formalities:
- Signing the Letter of Engagement for Investment Advisory
- Completing KYC documentation
- Paying the advisory fee
We then conduct a Risk Profiling Exercise to understand your comfort and capacity for risk.
Next, you’ll receive a detailed data-gathering questionnaire to help you compile financial information and documents.
During the subsequent meeting, we have an in-depth discussion about your goals, current financial position, concerns, and values.
This enables us to build an accurate and holistic picture of your financial life.
Phase III – Plan Preparation & Presentation
We analyse all information shared and prepare a comprehensive financial plan.
The first draft is presented in detail, explaining all assumptions, strategies, and recommendations.
Your feedback and concerns are discussed, and modifications are incorporated where needed.
Subsequent drafts, if required, are shared by email and discussed via call or online meeting for convenience.
Phase IV – Plan Implementation
Once the plan is finalised, you may choose how you wish to implement it:
- Independently, through your own preferred channels, or
- Through us, as part of our advisory and execution services
This choice is confirmed at the time of signing the Letter of Engagement.
Phase V – Review & Monitoring
A comprehensive review is typically conducted one year after the first plan.
If there are significant life changes — such as a career shift, inheritance, or major financial decision — we can conduct an interim review earlier.
For clients who implement their investments through us:
- Monthly portfolio reports are emailed to you
- You are welcome to contact us anytime for discussion or clarification
- Quarterly portfolio reviews are conducted via call, online, or in-person meeting
These reviews ensure your plan remains aligned with your goals and adapts to life’s changes.
